Volunteers needed

We urgently need volunteers and funds to maintain the churchyard.

As a independant charity the church is run by and for the local community.

Can you:

-clean old grave stones

-weeding old grave stones and paths

– put down gravel

-prune bushes

-plant daffodil bulbs

-organize a gardening group

– Volunteer an hour of your time, every little helps!

-volunteer half a day?

If not, can you make a donation towards consumables (gravel, bin bags, weed killer, paint etc).

Open Gardens 2019

Preparations are in full swing ready for 9 June 2019.

As usual we are looking for volunteers (car park, information point, church narrators and kitchen) and of course gardens – how ever big or small!

Have you walked round recently?

We have received many positive comments, particularly on the facebook page ‘I love Scarborough’ for the eye popping display of snowdrops.

Did you know it costs over £4K a year to maintain the Churchyard and many hours from church volunteers.

-Purchase a bench?

-Purchase a tree?

-Sponsor Daffodil planting?

-Sponsor Tulip planting?

-Sponsor waste collection (Churchyard general waste and brown bin)

-Help liter picking or pruning bushes?
